Two ways to be part of the club
Whether you simply want to attend our events or help build the club from the inside, there's a place for you.
Option 1
Regular member
Open to every HSG student, free of charge and with no application. Join the community, come to the events that interest you, and stay in the loop.

- Access to all speaker sessions, workshops and company visits
- Invitations to apéros, dinners and networking with industry guests
- Job, internship and thesis opportunities shared by our partners
Option 2
Become a Teamie
Our active members — the people who actually run the club. Teamie spots are limited and filled through a short application each semester.
- Take ownership in Marketing, Events, Partnerships, Content or Finance
- Work directly with trading houses, shipowners and brokers
- Build a track record and a network before you graduate
- Shape the club's direction as part of the active team
Application process
How the Teamie application works
We open applications at the start of every semester. No prior commodities experience is required — curiosity and commitment matter more.

Submit the form
Tell us who you are, which department interests you and why commodities and shipping appeal to you. It takes about ten minutes.

Short conversation
We invite shortlisted candidates for an informal chat with the board to talk through expectations and fit.

Start with your department
Successful applicants join their department right away and take on real responsibility from the first week.
